Petite Opera Productions – Ticket Policy

Petite Opera Productions Ticket Policy including final sales, exchanges, discounts, late seating, handicapped accesibility, photography, ticket donations.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL: Dates, Times, Productions and Prices are subject to change. Petite Opera Productions DOES NOT ISSUE REFUNDS.

Ticket Exchanges: Exchanges may be coordinated by calling (847) 553-4442. Exchanges will be honored provided seats are available for the alternate date sought. If the desired alternate performance is sold out, tickets will be converted into a tax-deductible donation. See below.

Payment Method and Online Tickets: Tickets are available for advance credit card purchase. Convenience fee applies. Tickets may also be purchased via credit card at the door. There is a service fee. Cash and personal checks are also accepted.

Pick-Up: All tickets (purchased online, reserved via phone) are available for pick up at the Box Office at The Mary Wilson House-Beyer Auditorium, 306 S Prospect Ave (Crescent Ave entrance), Park Ridge, IL on the date of the performance. Box Office is open 1 hour prior to performance curtain time. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. Identification must be presented to secure a discounted rate.

Discounted Tickets and Special Rates: Discounted ticket rates are available for Students, Seniors Military and Preschool Children.

Seniors: Discounted tickets are offered for Seniors age 62 and over.

Military: Petite Opera Productions stands by its military and wants to honor its service men and women for their service. Patrons who served in our U.S. Military should tell the Box Office staff and provide their service information on our GuestBook to obtain a discounted rate.

Students: Petite Opera Productions is committed to making opera accessible to and appropriate for everyone. In that spirit, we offer $15 tickets for full-time Students attending Kindergarten through College for each of our performances. Due to mature content for certain productions, student age limits may be restricted for certain productions. All Students under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult to each performance. The accompanying parent or responsible adult must also be a paid ticket holder. Students will be asked for provide their student ID at the Box Office when picking up their tickets. College students must be enrolled full-time to receive the $15 ticket price.

Preschool Children: Petite Opera Productions believes in exposing young children to the joy of opera and live musical productions. As a result, for age-appropriate productions, we offer $5 tickets for children age 5 and under who are not yet attending school.  To attend the performance, children must be accompanied by a parent who is also a ticket holder for the same performance. Preschool children patrons must demonstrate the ability to sit quietly and respectfully watch the performance without interrupting the show. Petite Opera reserves the right to ask parents to remove disruptive children from the auditorium until the child is able to demonstrate suitable decorum and behavior. At that point, the House Manager will determine a suitable point in the performance to allow parent and child back into the auditorium.

All patrons must have a ticket: All patrons, including small children and those in wheelchairs, must have a ticket to the performance.

Seating: All seats in The Mary Wilson House-Beyer Auditorium are General Admission.  Auditorium doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain time for seat selection.

Sell-out: In the event of a sell-out, an announcement will be posted to the Tickets section of this website. At that point, only tickets purchased or reserved in advance will be redeemable.

Converting tickets into a tax-deductible donation: Patrons who find themselves unable to attend an opera for which they have purchased tickets may convert the purchase into a tax-deductible donation by leaving a message at the Box Office (847.553.4442, option 1) at least 24 hours in advance of the performance. The seats are then made available for purchase by other patrons. Petite Opera Productions does not refund ticket purchases.

Late seating: Petite Opera Productions performances begin promptly at the stated start time. Ushers will seat late patrons only during suitable points in the points, as determined by the House Manager.

Handicap accessibility:  Our performance venues comply with ADA accessibility requirements. Please contact our box office at 847.553.4442, option 2, to make arrangements for access. Please leave a message with your phone number, name and planned arrival time to the venue, and a Box office coordinator will contact you.

Video and Photography: The taking of photographs and the use of recording devices are strictly prohibited during every performance. Photographs with cast members following the performance is permitted in the auditorium.
