“I am thrilled to be sharing this opera with a new audience.  Whether broadly or personally, we all are affected by the service of our military.  Despite this, most of us still are unaware of the complications and challenges our veterans face once back home.  It’s quite a special privilege to represent some of their intimate stories  through this unique medium.  These accounts are surprisingly relatable; they touch on themes of loneliness, guilt, and feeling like an outsider, as well as bravery and perseverance in the face of the unknown/unchangeable, which all strike a universal chord.”
